CCR Draft #1

My product challenges social conventions in several different ways.  My cover challenges conventions by using several different bright colors that don't exactly go together but still compliment each other in the setting . Also it challenges conventions by using a different looking model, she doesn't look like society's typical model. She could be seen as an idol for natural beauty as seen in magazine such as Allure. She also is wearing different types of accessories instead of the basic diamond type of necklace. For my title i chose the font Arial Black because it is very modern looking and sharp. For headline article i used the font Franklin Gothic Denim and used the color navy blue. I chose this font because it is different ad fits well with the others, while i picked navy blue as the color so the headline article would stand out from the others. For the other articles i used the font myraid pro in order for all the article titles to look the same.

For my table of contents i chose this picture because I like how much the background makes the model pop. I also lined the font around her head to contrast her hair shape and the titles. 

These article pages challenge conventions by using a different look.  It shows the model with different hairstyles. First she has curly then straight long hair, then her look is completely changed with short light green hair. She also wears a different type of style that's not usually shown in the media. She also represents the social group of Hispanic people.
